Hey everybody! Greetings from the world of low frequencies. We're still trying to catch our breath (and recover from the heat) from a long weekend.
July 4th we were in Sheridan, Indiana for their annual Independence Day celebration. It was extremely hot, but a good time was had by all. Cody from the Tune-O-Matics provided the p.a. and helped us get set-up and sound checked, along with our ever-present sound guru Mr. Doug Webster. On behalf of the band, I'd like to extend our gratitude to Doug and our "roadie" Herb. Herb has faithfully traveled with us, for no pay, to the last several gigs, and still says we sound good. Without these 2 guys we could not do what we do. Thank you both.
July 5th found us at Birdy's in Indianapolis with 3 other bands. It's not often you can catch 4 bands for only $5.00!
The staff at Birdy's were great, and even let Doug sit behind the board for us. With only a few minor changes from the previous day's set, we took the stage and rocked it old school. I was only able to stay for a small part of A Friend Called Fire's set, but definitely liked what I heard and highly recommend checking them out if you get a chance.
Our next scheduled show is August 7th at The Gear in Franklin, Indiana. Hope to see you there!
